Nestled at the convergence of the Western and Eastern Ghats, the quaint hamlet of Poovar is a treasure trove of sun-kissed beaches, vast open seas, tranquil backwaters, and the picturesque Neyyer River. Once named 'a string of flowers' by Marthanda Varma, Poovar remains an unspoiled gem. Our Estuary Sarovar Premiere Resort, just 2 kilometers away, offers the unique privilege of awakening to the soothing sound of waves. It stands out as the only hotel in Poovar with 105 keys and features 45 rooms that boast views of the backwaters and beach. This resort is also the sole venue in Poovar with a lawn accommodating up to 2000 guests right on the backwater's edge and offers clustered room arrangements for added privacy. Guests can indulge in luxury with 8 premium cottages, each with its own verandah, private swimming pool, banqueting space, and lawn area, as well as 9 expansive Leisure Villas with similar bespoke amenities. It is the only resort in the area with three common swimming pools, five private pools, and extensive conferencing facilities including the Poovar Hall for 300 guests, Neyyar Hall for 100 guests, a boardroom for 22, and a sprawling lawn for 2000 guests. Additionally, the Estuary Sarovar Premiere boasts a unique location where the Estuary opens right in front of the resort, offering guests a sublime portal to the serene beauty of Poovar.
