Backwater Ripples is a picturesque lakeside resort located on Nazerath Church Road in Kumarakom, overlooking the tranquil waters of Vembanad Lake. For outdoor celebrations, Green Arch combines a covered area with a landscaped lawn and accommodates around 120 guests in a cluster layout. The Grand Lawn overlooks Vembanad Lake and can be customised for large weddings, receptions and evening celebrations. Its trees, open skies and waterfront views provide an impressive natural backdrop for ceremonial décor, entertainment and photography. The resort offers garden-view rooms, lake-view accommodation, heritage villas, studio suites and family duplex suites. Event amenities include catering packages, audiovisual support, projectors, technical assistance, Wi-Fi, power backup, valet parking and professional coordination. Backwater Ripples is approximately 14 to 15 kilometres from Kottayam Railway Station and Kottayam town, with a typical travel time of around 30 minutes. Cochin International Airport is approximately 75 to 85 kilometres away and normally requires two to two and a half hours by road. Kumarakom Boat Jetty is only a few minutes from the resort, while private cars, taxis, coaches and pre-arranged transfers can be used for wedding groups.
