Description
Baragarh Resort & Spa, Manali – IHCL SeleQtions is located at Village Ghourdhor near Larankelo in the Kullu Valley of Himachal Pradesh. Set beside the Beas River and surrounded by orchards, forested slopes and panoramic Himalayan peaks, the resort offers a secluded destination setting away from the commercial activity of central Manali. Its European chalet-inspired architecture and mountain scenery make the property especially appealing for residential weddings, intimate celebrations, corporate retreats and incentive programmes. The resort is situated along the Kullu–Manali corridor, approximately 20 kilometres before central Manali when approaching from Kullu. Kullu–Manali Airport at Bhuntar is around 30 kilometres away, with the road journey generally taking 45 minutes to an hour. Since flight schedules to Bhuntar can be limited and affected by mountain weather, wedding planners should keep Chandigarh Airport as an alternative arrival point and arrange coordinated road transfers. Guests travelling from Delhi or Chandigarh can reach the resort through Mandi and Kullu along National Highway 3 before continuing towards the property. There is no major railway station close to Manali. Chandigarh and Kalka are the most practical broad-gauge railheads, followed by a road transfer to the Kullu Valley. Volvo and luxury buses operate from Delhi and Chandigarh to Manali, and guests can be collected from convenient stops along the Kullu–Manali route or from the Manali bus terminal. For destination weddings, group airport transfers, luggage vehicles and clearly timed guest movements are preferable to individual arrivals. Event materials, décor structures and technical equipment should be transported in advance because mountain roads can slow down production movement. Seasonal rain, snowfall and traffic must also be considered, with additional travel time and contingency arrangements included in the event schedule.
